Go Out and Get Spooked: 5 Halloween Parties Happening in Prague

Most, if not all of the major clubs in Prague are hosting Halloween events on the 30th and 31st of October—Epic, Duplex, and Karlovy Lazne, to name a few. Listed below are some larger events you won’t want to miss!

Sacre-Cœur Church Halloween – Sacre Coeur, Hlavní město Praha

By far the most financially frightening, this party is hosted by Erasmus inside Prague’s Sacré-Cœur Church from November 1 to November 2. The last wave is selling tickets for 990 CZK, or you could really splurge and buy VIP passes for 1,190 CZK. The event boasts 800+ attendees, a fire show, DJs, and a costume contest that gives upgrades and free drinks to the winners.

Bloody Sexy Halloween – Bělehradská 858/23, Vinohrady, 120 00 Prague 2

According to the Bloody Sexy website, this is the biggest halloween event in Central Europe since it opened in 2009. Tickets, currently going for 460 CZK, grant “daredevils” two nights—October 31 to November 1—of DJs, dancers, and “hellish” performances. Another highlight of the night is the costume contest, and the winners (decided by the amount of applause from the crowd) are awarded 40,000 CZK in cash!

Wonderland Halloween – Štěpánská 61, 116 02, New Town, Prague 1

If you prefer electronic and techno music on normal nights out, consider Wonderland Halloween. This halloween horror-magic show will be held in the Great Hall in the Lucerna on the 31st. The elegant palace venue will host acrobats, dancers, and a Best Mask competition with prizes worth 50,000 CZK. The DJs are nationally and internationally recognized in the electronic/house music scene. Tickets are currently 690 CZK per person.

Fly Vista’s Halloween Night – Fly Vista, Národní 63, Prague 1

Fy Vista, the popular rooftop bar, sets its Halloween party apart from others in Prague because it has–wait for it–a fortune teller. Like other events, it also has a costume contest, as well as a funky smoke show performed by bartenders, and a special Halloween-themed cocktail menu. A reservation deposit is 250 CZK, which includes a free drink upon entry to welcome you!

Día de los Muertos Festival at Holešovice Market – Bubenské nábřeží 306/13, 170 00, Holešovice, Prague

Celebrate the Day of the Dead in Prague! On October 30th starting at 11:00am, the annual festival at Holešovice Market will feature live music, traditional food, and handmade products for sale. The Mexican Embassy will loan an Ofrenda to be on display, for those to pay their respects.
