Venice Street View: A Photo Series

Within the Cities in Motion series: A Personal Photo Archive by Sofiia Situkho

These photos were taken during my two-day solo trip to Venice in early summer 2025. I ended up there almost accidentally, thanks to random low-cost airline discounts, and spent my time wandering through the crowded streets without any fixed plan. Ancient buildings, countless tourists, and seagulls drifting under the Italian sunlight created a surreal mixture that felt both chaotic and magical. This series captures those quiet moments hidden within the overwhelming beauty of the city. The theme: “Venice, street view, 2025.”
