Valentine’s Day can bring stress and major FOMO to you Valentine-less students, so whether you’re a partier or just want a quiet place to cry, here are some places for those single this year.
Clubs
Looking for somewhere to dance away your problems? Prague has plenty of clubs, raves and bars. Collectives such as Nur, Karate Club, and Here and There are hosting Valentine’s Day themed techno nights, offering good music and the proper space to just let loose. Go to RA Guide to buy tickets or check their Instagram accounts for more information.
Bars
Is techno not really your speed? That’s alright. Try just stepping outside of your apartment and walking around for a few minutes; you are bound to find some niche bar. Maybe get some of your buddies and go to a wine bar. U Sudu Wine bar has great reviews and is right in the center of Prague.
Gym
Have you kept up on your new years resolutions? If not this is a perfect day to start again, use that loneliness to push yourself in the gym. Max Fitness’s day pass is only 250 CZK and has several locations in Prague. Sometimes putting on your music and working on yourself is the best cure for a lame weekend.
Cafes
Let’s keep the productive theme going. It’s only the second week, but some students might already have homework. Hitting the books or even working on personal projects is a perfect distraction from this dreadful holiday. Hit up your local Cafe, or better yet, find a new one. Lab Cafe or Expo Cafe are great options and have some great views.
Crash Out
So, she got away. That’s alright, but if you’re feeling like you need a place to just crash out and yell, take a look at this article by us. Scenic Spots to Crash Out in Prague, by Poppy Mynard, gives over 5 plus places to crash out that make you feel like you’re in your own rom-com.
