Ringo Starr Slams Lennon Wall Over Publication Name

Former Beatles’ drummer and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Ringo Starr slammed Lennon Wall in a public tirade this week. The 85-year-old songwriter recently released his 21st solo studio album, and as a part of his tour, voiced displeasure over Lennon Wall’s choice of Beatle for the publication’s name.

“I don’t know why John [Lennon] gets all the walls,” Starr said. “No one ever puts up a Ringo Wall, and why is that? Huh? Why doesn’t poor Ringo get a publication?”

His public tirade has sparked a school wide movement to alter the name, although George Harrison and Paul McCartney were surprisingly absent from such protests.

Due to backlash from the fourth Beatle, Lennon Wall will include a Ringo Wall for all satirical articles like this one.
