American Student Reported Missing

Angelina Backers, a 23-year old American woman, has been officially reported missing in Prague and Croatia as she was last sighted on Feb. 14. 

According to Croatian news website Regional Express, Backers is listed in the national register of missing persons of Croatia. 

According to the Instagram account @pomoc_angelina, which claims to be created by her parents, Backers was last seen in the coastal city of Pula on Feb.14. Prior to this, the account states she was last seen in Zagreb on Feb. 12 leaving the hotel, Vila Marija. 

The Lennon Wall contacted the Croatian hotel and the police station which each offered no new information. 

Backers is a tattoo artist and was last seen in Prague on Feb. 10 near her apartment in the district of Prague 10.

The official police statement claimed Backers is a student at a Czech university; however, the Lennon Wall was unable to verify which university she was enrolled in.

She is reportedly 170 centimeters tall, 60 kilograms in weight, and has brown hair and brown eyes with visible tattoos on her legs and arms. 

This is an ongoing story and will be updated as new information becomes available. If anyone has any information about her disappearance please contact the Czech and Croatian police and her family
